Commission a Work

 

Lush Magnolia Studio accepts a limited number of commissioned works each year. Every commission is artist-led and process-driven — developed in sequence, with care, and without rushing toward a finish.

 

WHAT THE STUDIO CREATES

Commissions may include furniture, wall works, sculptural objects, functional pieces, and exploratory projects involving new forms or materials. The studio regularly works with flowers, botanicals, wood, metal, resin, and collected personal objects.

Not all work is published or photographed. Some commissions begin without a direct visual reference. Clients seeking something new, unfamiliar, or entirely untested are encouraged to inquire — these are often the most rewarding projects.

Custom resin tables and furniture — from side tables and coffee tables to dining surfaces and consoles. Developed collaboratively and built to your space. Available with wedding or memorial flowers, studio-sourced botanicals, or as purely art-driven pieces.

 

  • Wall Works

Sculptural wall pieces that function as dimensional art. From intimate framed works to large-format architectural panels. Each piece is designed for a specific wall, scale, and room.

 

  • Sculptural Objects

Lamps, bookends, display objects, and one-of-a-kind collected works. These pieces are designed to anchor a surface, tell a story, and resist easy categorization.

 

  • Trays & Heirloom Pieces

Smaller-scale functional works — resin trays, framed flower preservation, keepsake pieces. An accessible entry point to the studio’s work and one of the most gifted commission types.

 

  • Concept Commissions

The studio accepts a small number of commissions that don’t fit any existing format — new scales, new materials, architectural elements, or entirely new ideas. These projects are developed through research, prototyping, and close collaboration. Inquire to discuss.
