Wedding Flower Preservation

Preserve the moment for a Lifetime
with custom designed commissioned artwork & functional home decor.

You already spent a fortune on flowers, don't let them wilt. We love working with happy couples to create luxury pieces commemorating their special day. As a boutique art studio, space is extremely limited, book in advance to secure your space in our calendar.

The Preservation Process

1 | Contact us about availability

As a boutique art studio, we have limited availability in order to give each of our clients' special occasion artwork the attention to detail we pride ourselves on. Please contact us to check our availability as soon as possible.

2 | Decide on which custom heirloom pieces you can't live without!

We have so many options to choose from, it can be difficult to choose! Don't worry, you can always upgrade or add to your selections after the flowers have dried, and during the design process. However, certain pieces require specific methods of drying so there may be limitations for adding on. It's best to have as many selections solidified as possible in advance. We do require selecting one of our main items to then select items under the additions category.

3| We draw up a contract & you place a 50% deposit.

We require a minimum spend of $400 on artwork as well as a signed contract and a 50% deposit to secure the date.

4| We set up a drop off appointment or send shipping instructions for your flowers

For drop off, we are conveniently located in the CBD at 404 Magazine St, between Poydras and Natchez Streets. Please confirm when you will be dropping off as all drop-offs and pick-ups are by appointment only. For shipping, we will provide a different shipping address. Please be sure to provide a tracking number. We will give you detailed instructions on how to care for your flowers until we receive them. Payment in full is due when we receive the flowers.

5| We dry everything according to your contracted items

When we receive the flowers, we will document the condition and dry them using multiple methods depending on which items you selected and the species of the flowers and foliage. We will keep your flowers safely in drying until we are ready to work on your designs.

6| We send you sample design layout options to help guide the artist’s on your aesthetic

Prior to the design process, we will send sample design layout options for you to choose from. Here you can let us know of any specifications such as specific flowers to include or exclude and any additional items you would like such as paper products, ribbons, lockets etc.

7| We pull your flowers out of drying & send over your custom designs.

We offer designs based on our experience as to how to achieve the best result for your custom artwork. Our artists will take your preferences into consideration while designing your layout, however if your flowers do not work for your preferred selected layout, the artist may send an alternative option. Dried flowers are fragile, so we only offer two redesigns after the initial suggested design to ensure your flowers still look their best.

8| Once approved, the resin process begins
We begin pouring your resin artwork as soon as the designs have been approved. After the last layer is cured, we demold and begin the sanding & polishing phase. Depending on the size of the artwork, this process will take several weeks if everything goes perfectly. We take as much time as needed to perfect your artwork to the best of our ability. Our current turnaround time for the entire process is around 8 months from receiving your flowers. *We do not give estimates or guarantee completion dates; this turnaround time may change prior to your order without notice. We work in the order in which we receive the flowers. Please know that we are working as quickly as we can without diminishing our quality to complete your commissions as soon as we can. Feel free to reach out for updates throughout the process.

9| Your commissioned artwork is complete!

We will  arrange for pick up or shipping the artwork to its final home.

10| Cherish your memories preserved for a lifetime!
